Whats a Lappa?

I always get this question: Why are you wearing that? What's a lappa. Well here you go a lappa is a wrap around skirt that you wear. Lappas  are traditionally worn in West Africa. Okay I used to take African Dance I haven't been to class lately because of transportation reasons. I've been doing african dance since I was about 8. I love it its good exercise too. Out of all the dance styles I have experience with this is one of my favorites! I will post a video of me soon dancing. My little brother used to take drum lessons. When we african dance we have bare feet we never wear shoes your suppossed to feel the earth and its a celebration,or a wedding or whatever the cause may be. We dance to live drums none of the recorded or taped stuff! Thats another reason why I love it its live real you can hear and feel the drum in your chest every beat! I could go on about this. I wore a lappa yesterday my one of many! I got a few looks and stares but I dont care I love wearing my lappa wether its in class or out of class!  One day I'll post a video of one of my african dances and you'll get to see my little bro drumming. Rihanna Hott new Hair!!! =)

Rihanna has a new hairstyle! Yay! I love it I love her! yes you guys may not agree with me or you may but I love it! I'm a fan of her Yes! I think it looks great! The ones of her onstage half naked are from her concert in Rio Madrid on Saturday in Spain Whenever I'm thinking of designing or making something I almost always envision her wearing it! Arise Magazine! 2008 issue! =)

I was in Barnes and Nobles and I discovered lots of fashion magazines I got so excited! I want to buy them all I kept debating with myself onwhich one to buy! Ugh I should have brought this one! lol but this is an issue from 2008 I loved it! TOO Hott

I started off wearing jeans in this outfit but that wasnt going to work! It was too hott out got to see Shrek 4 today I'm sad that this is the last one! Those babies are so cute! lol So after the movies I had to change! Anyways Im sorry to all of my followers and people I follow If I havent commented your blog lately our computer has been acting up lately and cuts off randomly! Ugh! but anways I will try my best to get to you all! <3 Now this shirt Im wearing over my T-shirt was given to me brand new! tags and all from my mother friend I love it! The rest of the things im wearing I already had! My heart necklace of course the pearls and that long double chain gold necklace was my great aunts! This belt I found in my foot locker I said hey this will work! You guys like? again I will get back to posting things and commenting others! Thank you all! =)

Learning to Smize

So I wish I could model! ha maybe one day! but until then I love practicing as you can see I take a dozen pictures today I tried to smize! ha do  you think I pulled it off? Honest answers folks I can take it! :)

If I just Lie here

Yesterday I figured I got dressed with my eyes closed. Ha yesterday I just wanted to have fun with my outfit. The jean skirt I'm wearing was once Capri's and i decided hey i never wear these why not make into something that I will wear? they were also to big on me too. So last year I took in one side of them then I cut the leg part and put some tiny rips in them and voila a ripped short jean skirt! Then I just found any top to wear I figured it went well. The braided headband I've been waiting to wear for a while I couldn't find anything to go with it so I put it with this. Then I put on my Kenneth Cole brown slippers there super comfy when i first bought them maybe I'll get the insides redone. There's a gold chain I wore around my waist as well. Anyway I just layed out on blanket under our little tree and took these all of them even the ones in the air over me! I'm so happy I could I get tired of asking other people to take my photos and they don't do them how you want them done;those of you who are picture takers like me know what I mean. I've been slightly down lately because of an old breakup hopefully this will pass. Also the green neckalce and two bracelets I made I also made the braided colorful one, one green bracelet is a wrap around and the other a normal bracelet. If your intrested in anything let me know I'll showcase some of my work soon. Another thing that felty blue blanket I'm laying on I also made. WHY???

So I felt some sort of way for my reasons,one day I will share it with you all. Until then its between me myself and God. Sometimes you can't let things go it may feel as if they are always with you. Do you have to deal with it? Sometimes you forgive and you don't forget that's the problem you don't forget and it haunts you day in and day out. Your mind plays tricks on you, will you move on? Will you get over it? How much can one person take? Always remember there's always someone who's got it worse. What are we really living for? If we all will decease one day into our eternal homes why are hurting one another? Why aren't we trying our hardest just to be kind to one another. Be sane, I don't know if this makes sense but I hope I go the message across. In these photos I just blended my eyeshadow colors white,black,gray,purple and wore my black lipstick again.
